Die Einzeltitelwiedergabe wird durch erneutes
Betätigen der Taste CONT./SINGLE (8) ausge-
schaltet.
9 SCAN-Knopf für den schnellen Vor- und Rücklauf
je nach Drehrichtung des Knopfs. Je weiter der
SCAN-Knopf gedreht wird, desto schneller ist der
Vor- bzw. Rücklauf. Der Vor- bzw. Rücklauf fährt
auch über mehrere Titel, jedoch beim Abspielen
einer programmierten Titelfolge immer nur bis
zum Ende bzw. Anfang eines Titels.
Bei eingeschalteter Pause kann der Vor- und
Rücklauf ebenfalls benutzt werden, um eine
bestimmte Stelle anzufahren. Nach beendetem
Schnellauf ist die momentane Stelle so lange
wiederholt zu hören, bis die Taste
drückt wird („Scratch"-Effekt).
10 SEARCH-Knopf zum exakten Anfahren einer
bestimmten Stelle im Pausen-Modus. Bei einge-
schalteter Pause wird auf der CD so lange und so
schnell vor- oder zurückgefahren, wie der
SEARCH-Knopf gedreht wird. Nach dem Drehen
ist die momentane Stelle so lange wiederholt zu
hören, bis die Taste PLAY
(„Scratch"-Effekt).
Bei laufender CD können durch Vor- und Zurück-
drehen des SEARCH-Knopfs „Scratch"-Effekte
erzeugt werden.
11 PLAY/PAUSE-Taste, jedes Betätigen dieser Taste
wechselt zwischen Wiedergabe (Anzeige
Pause (Anzeige ). Bei eingeschalteter Pause
kann mit den SKIP-Tasten (4) oder den
SEARCH/SCAN-Drehknöpfen (9 +10) eine belie-
bige andere Stelle auf der CD angefahren werden.
12 TIME-Taste zum Umschalten der Zeitanzeige.
Bei laufender CD zeigt das Display die Restzeit
des gerade gespielten Titels und zur Kennzeich-
nung REMAIN. Durch mehrfaches Drücken der
Taste TIME können folgende Zeitinformationen
gewählt werden:
1. die bereits gespielte Zeit des momentanen Ti-
tels (die Anzeige REMAIN erlischt)

9 SCAN knob for the quick advance resp. reverse
according to the turning direction of the knob. The
further the SCAN knob is turned, the quicker the
advance resp. reverse is. The advance resp. re-
verse also goes beyond several titles, however,
with playing a programmed title sequence only
until the end resp. beginning of one title.
In the pause mode, the advance resp. reverse
can also be used to position a certain spot. After
the end of the advance resp. reverse run the
actual spot can repeatedly be heard for such a
long time until the button
("scratch" effect).

Aufstellmöglichkeiten
Die Laufwerk- und die Steuereinheit sind für die Mon-
tage in ein 19"-Rack vorgesehen, können aber auch
auf einem Tisch aufgestellt werden. Die Laufwerkein-
heit muß auf jeden Fall waagerecht betrieben wer-
den (die CDs liegend), während die Steuereinheit be-
liebig, z. B. auch gekippt, eingebaut werden kann.

Installation
The playing mechanism and control units are de-
signed for 19" rack mounting, but they can also be
placed on a table. The playing mechanism unit must
in any case be operated horizontally (the CDs in
lying position) while the control unit can be installed
as desired, e. g. even in tilted position.
