8 Adjusting Trimmer for User

Balancing the Trimmer

The cutting attachment should rest lightly on the ground.
► Switch off the trimmer and push retaining latch to position
.
► Connect the carrying ring (1) to the carabiner (2).
► Wait for the trimmer to stop swinging.
Check position of cutting attachment. If it needs adjustment:

► Loosen the screw (3).
► Move carrying ring (2) up or down the drive tube until
correct balanced position is reached.
► Tighten down the screw (3) firmly.

Adjusting the Handle

FSA 90
The bike handle can be set to different positions to suit the
height and reach of the user.
► Switch off the trimmer, push retaining latch to position
and remove the battery.
► Loosen the wing screw (1).
► Swing the bike handle (2) to the required position.
► Tighten down the wing screw (1) firmly.
