ON position, the power tool will start operat-
ing immediately, which could cause a serious
accident.
▪ Make sure that the cord and the plug are in
order. If the replacement of the supply cord is
necessary, this has to be done by the manu-
facturer or his agent in order to avoid a safety
hazard.
WARNING: Always switch off and
unplug the power tool prior to any adjustment,
servicing or maintenance.
▪ In case the work area is remote from the pow-
er source, use as short as practicable exten-
sion cord with proper cross-section.
▪ Check that the auxiliary handle is properly
mounted and reliably tightened.
WARNING: Prior to operation always
check the direction of rotation. Shift the
reversing switch only when the spindle has
come to a complete stop. Reversing prior to
final spindle halt may damage the power tool.
SWITCHING ON - SWITCHING Off
Brief activation
▪ Switching on: press ON/OFF switch 11. LED
14 glows (BUR 150CET).
▪ Switching off: release ON/OFF switch 11.
Continuous operation
▪ Switching on: press ON/OFF switch 11 and in
pressed position lock it by button 12.
▪ Switching off: press ON/OFF switch 11 once
and release it immediately.
STEPLESS ELECTRONIC RPM CON-
TROL (BUR 150E,BUR 150CET)
Light pressure on ON/OFF switch 11 results in
low rotation speed, further pressing the switch
results in stepless increase of the rpm to maxi-
mum upon reaching the extreme position.
SELECTION Of RPM VALUE
(BUR 150E, BUR 150CET)
The necessary speed can be preselected by
rotating the regulator dial 10 clockwise or ati-
clockwise.
Original instructions
REVERSING (BUR 150E, BUR 150CET)
The extreme position of lever 9 to the right is
equivalent to clockwise rotation, the extreme
position to the left - to anti-clockwise rotation.
When the ON/OFF switch is depressed lever
9 can not be actuated. Reversing can be per-
formed only when the spindle is not rotating!
TORqUE CONTROL (BUR 150CET)
Select the toque by regulator 13, as:
- Position I corresponds to minimum torque;
- Position III corresponds to maximum torque.
Use maximum torque for normal drilling. Do not
operate the machine continuously at low speed
and high torque.
LED INDICATION (BUR 150CET)
Green LED 14 - Indicates the spindle rotation
direction:
- Constant glow: the machine is supplied from
the mains, right rotation direction of the spindle;
- Blinking glow: the machine is supplied from the
mains, left rotation direction of the spindle.
Red LED 15 - indicates the actuation of the
torque control regulator:
- Constant glow: maximum torque has been
achieved by torque control, the spindle halts
rotation.
- Blinking glow: the machine is supplied from the
mains, mains supply has dropped-out.
To restore normal operation it is necessary in
both cases to first switch off and then switch on
the power tool by the ON/OFF switch pos.10.

OPERATION MODE SELECTION

- Drilling in metal, wood, etc. The switch 5 is in
its extreme right position the symbol "drill bit" be-
ing exposed.
- Drilling in concrete, stone, etc. The ON/OFF
switch 5 is in its extreme left position and the
symbol "hammer" is exposed.
Switching the operation modes can be per-
formed while the machine is operated.
INSERTING AND fASTENING DRILL
BITS
for three-jaw chuck drills:
Through turning the collar of the chuck 2 clock-
wise or anti-clockwise the jaws are positioned
so the drill bit shank can be inserted inside the
choke. By turning the collar of chuck 2 clockwise
the jaws tighten the drill bit shank. Fix the drill
