MALFUNCTION
Motor does not run.
Motor always switching off. Cutter blocked.
Motor system does not
switch off by lock up.
Shearing unit is noisy or
vibrates.
Motor gets hot.
Shearing plant cannot be
switched off.

CAUSE
No power.
Cable faulty.
Switch faulty.
Motor faulty.
Control unit faulty.
Capacitors faulty.
Mechanical damage in the
shearing handpiece or flexi-
shaft.
Reverberation sensor's
magnet faulty.
Faulty reverberation sensor.
Power supply too weak.
Control unit faulty.
Faulty motor bearing.
Faulty motor bearing.
Ventilation screen dirty.
Malfunctions in the flexible
drive and / or shearing hand-
piece.
Switch faulty.
SOLUTION
Power supply and/or fuse
faulty.
Have the cable replaced.
Have the switch replaced.
Have the motor replaced.
Have control unit replaced.
Have the capacitors replaced.
Remove blockage.
For the purposes of fault fin-
ding first of all uncouple the
shearing handpiece and restart
the plant. Uncouple the flexi-
drive from the shearing plant
if the fault persists. Rectify any
damage.
If the fault still persists, then
have the shearing plant
repaired.
Have the insulation flange, inc.
magnet, replaced.
Have the reverberation sensor
replaced.
Check the power supply.
Have control unit replaced.
Have the motor replaced.
Have the motor replaced.
Clean ventilation screen.
Have fault rectified.
Have the switch replaced.
