Other Installation Considerations

1. When wiring to the panel mount terminal, protective power ground shall be a
minimum of 4.5mm² or size 10 AWG stranded wire. Phased conductors
(neutral & line) shall be minimum of 0.9mm² (size 18awg) and maximum of
3.6mm² (size 12 AWG) stranded wire.
2. When wiring to the harsh terminal, the gage (or cross-sectional area) of the
protective power ground must be equal to or greater than the gage (or cross-
sectional area) of the power phased connectors. The power phased
connectors (neutral and line) shall be a minimum of 0.9mm
and a maximum of 3.6mm
3. In order to use a panel-mount IND560xx with IDNet interface in a Zone 2/22
hazardous area, the terminal must be installed inside an appropriate
enclosure. The IDNet connector must be passed through an ATEX-certified,
increased safety cable gland.
4. To meet ATEX requirements in an IDNet scale version of the IND560xx
terminal, a protective bracket is required when the IDNet connector is
positioned so that it could be impacted on the outside of the enclosure (such
as on the harsh enclosure).
5. The installer must include a switch or circuit breaker, suitable for the location
where it is installed, so that power can be removed for the replacement of the
fuse.
