4- Application

The forage Harvesters and Choppers JF C-40, C-60 and C-120 can be driven by any tractor
equipped with double or independent clutch and with at least 40 hp at the PTO, it requires a
tractor of at least 50hp, fullly meeting the needs of the producer.
Note:
Do not start the machine suddenly, turn the PTO on with the tractor in low idle and
gradually speed it up.
Abruptly starting the machine can cause parts breaking and ejection by the outlet
chute or other damages to the machine.
They harvest corn, elephant grass, sugar cane, sorghum, sunflower, millet and any kind of
forage grass. They can be used for ensilage, as the daily food to the animals.

The Harvesters and Choppers JF C-40, C-60 and C-120 are very versatile machines, that,
besides harvesting the already mentioned products, can also gather pre-dried grass and
green grass, just coupling the Platform JF 1300. They can also harvest corn and sorghum
planted with a reduced spacing, just coupling the Platform JF 500-4. The platforms are
optional items, sold separately.
