7.8- Belt maintenance (When installed)

With the machine turned off and the cardan uncoupled,
check the belt deflection each 50 working hours ow
weekly, pressing it with the thumb, through the hole (1)
of the rear shield (2).
Recommended play
1,0 to 2,0 cm.
Belt tensioning
a) Loosen the four bolts (3), using a wrench according
to the sub-item 12.1 table, and turn the nut (4)
clockwise.
b) Then, after adjusting the proper tension, re-tighten
the bolts (3). See the item 12 tables to find out which
wrench and torque you should use.
Note:
Check the general conditions of the belt and
in case it presents excessive wear and/or
shredding, replace it.
Besides that, keep it always clean and free
from grease and oil, because such products
are harmful to the belts, causing premature
deterioration.
