7.12- Care between harvesting seasons

When the machine remains stopped for a long period,
some cares are required aiming to get a longer userful
life:
Keep the machine under cover.
Bear in mind that the period between harvesting
seasons is the best time to make preventive
maintenance and, with that, stay calm unitil the
next harvest.
If the machine is equipped with belt, loosen it to
avoid damage to the belt and the machine.
When back to work note the following:
Re-tighten all nuts and bolts. See the item 12
tables to find out which wrench and torque you
should use.
Lubricate with grease the points indicated in sub-
item 7.1.
Check adjustments for operation, described in
item 5 of this manual.
If possible, make a full revision at a JF dealer or
authorized workshop.
Re-tighten the belt following the instructions of the
sub-item 7.8.
