current. It is necessary that the welding current return line between the workpiece
and the welding device shows a low resistance and the interconnection of the
workpiece and the ProfiMaster device is avoided.
2.5 Safety instructions for maintenance and troubleshooting on the
ProfiMaster device
All the activities within the maintenance and troubleshooting must be performed
using the appropriate personal protective equipment. Before starting the
maintenance works, the unit must be cleaned. This can be achieved using an
industrial vacuum cleaner of dust class "H".
Preparation, maintenance and repair works as well as error detection may be
performed only in the de-energized state of the ProfiMaster device.
Bolted joints, loosened during the maintenance and repair works, shall always be
tightened! If specified, the relevant bolts must be tightened with a torque wrench.
At the beginning of maintenance/repair/care it is particularly necessary to remove the
impurities from connections and bolted joints.
CAUTION
Skin contact with the smoke originating from cutting, etc. may
result in irritation in sensitive individuals!
Repairs and maintenance on the ProfiMaster device may only be
performed by trained and authorized professional personnel in
compliance with applicable safety instructions and accident
prevention regulations!
Risk of severe damage to the respiratory organs and respiratory
system!
Use protective clothing, gloves and a breathing apparatus with a
fan to prevent contact with dust and its inhalation!
Prevent the release of hazardous dusts during repairs and
maintenance to avoid injury to persons not involved in the
process.
