7.3 Changing Modes

Normal operation usually does not require any
modifi cation of the factory-adjusted modes of operation
or their factory-adjusted state. In special cases, or if
the need arises, different modes of operation or states
may be changed by entry of a code.
Inputs and readings when a mode of operation is
changed (Fig. 7-2 – example code C14)
• Press the "SETTINGS" key (3, Fig. 6-1) three times.
"C 14" appear in the monitor.
— Rotate the wheel to set the desired code in the
display.
The C state is read out on the screen. For some codes
a given value can be set.
— Make the proposed changes.
— Press the OK key (23, Fig. 7-2) to set the value.
To return to the operational action:
Press the ESC key.
Having completed the input of mode of operation it will
remain stored until the machine is switched off with the
main switch, or until a new input is made.
The changed modes can also be stored permanently
with code C10, so that they are not canceled when the
machine is switched off but are retained in a permanent
memory for future use until a new input is
made and stored. Settings that are changed, but not
saved in the permanent memory will be reset to the
previous value when the machine is turned off.
Note:
Code C4 cannot be stored in the permanent
memory.
The possible changes of codes and the necessary
inputs are described in the following:
