HARM: Measurement of harmonics

The HARM button allows, by successive presses, measurement of the total harmonic
distortion THD, the distortion factor DF, and return to the main function, AC current or voltage.
HARM button: A AC or V AC
NB: The HARM button has no effect on A DC and V DC
The combination of
scan harmonics rank by rank.
If harmonic measurement is impossible (fundamental frequency outside the operating
range) the displays indicate an indeterminate value (...).
THD: Total Harmonic Distortion
A first press on the HARM button: THD is displayed
The main display gives the value in % of the total harmonic distortion, and the secondary
display the true rms value of the signal.
NB:
The THD quantifies the total presence of harmonics (up to the 25th) in relation to
the fundamental component of the signal.
DF: Distortion Factor
Press the HARM button a second time: DF is displayed.
The main display gives the value in % of the distortion factor and the secondary display
the true rms value of the signal.
NB:
The DF quantifies the total presence of harmonics (up to the 25th) in relation to
the true rms value of the signal.
Harmonic rate, rank by rank and distortion rate, rank by rank.

Scrolling of harmonics is done 1 by 1, or 2 by 2 on " odd harmonic only " configuration
(H1, H3, ..., H25).
Scrolling can be rapid if the

buttons with the HARM button makes it possible to
buttons give access to the harmonic rate and the distortion rate.
