Manual test
By pressing and holding the " YELLOW " button, display of:
- the battery voltage on the main display
- the remaining service life in hours on the secondary display
- battery indicator permanently lit
Automatic test: display of battery light
- the battery light flashes. Remaining service life 1 hour
The accuracy of the clamp is still guaranteed.
- the battery indicator is permanently lit. The accuracy is not guaranteed. The battery
voltage is then approx. 3.3V and if the batteries are not changed, the clamp switches
Off automatically.

HOLD: Hold display

- Press the HOLD button to freeze the digital display and HOLD is displayed.
- Press a second time to reset the clamp to normal mode.
Normal mode
NB: The HOLD button has priority and is On in all configurations.
It has no effect on the analogue bargraph which continues to give the current value.
The RANGE button, on HOLD mode, remains On.
On RECORD mode, the HOLD button temporarily stops the recording: see HOLD-RECORD-
PAUSE procedure. When HOLD mode is exited, the memorised values are not reinitialised
and recording continues.
On HOLD mode, it is possible to select the RECORD mode without starting recording. The
recording will start when HOLD mode is exited; this procedure can be useful to start a
recording at a particular time.
DC zero: Zero reset to current
After a current measurement (AC, DC or AC + DC), if the display does not return to zero
(presence of a DC component due to the remanence of the magnetic circuit or the
temperature shift), proceed with automatic zero reset.
- Press and hold the HOLD button and " dc 0 " is displayed on the secondary display; the
main display tends to zero.
