Before commencing installation, make sure you have
the following tools to hand (unless you have other means
of access, place them in the garage before installing the
garage door): Folding ruler/measuring tape, spirit level,
plumber's wrench, reversible ratchet with extension and
SW 7, 10 and 13 spanners (possibly open-end or socket
wrench, as well), Phillips screwdriver size 2, T30 screw-
driver bit, hammer drill with appropriate drill bit 10mm
(depth: min. 65mm), at least 2 screw clamps, possibly
squared timber, approx. (30x30)mm, hammer, chisel and
metal saw.
Suitable fastening material for the structural conditions.
Caution: Prior to use, please make sure the S8 wood
screws and S9 plugs included in the delivery are suita-

Important:
The garage door must be mounted in the finished
opening and on the finished floor!
Hinge tightening torque =10Nm (S10
To be on the safe side, please compare the dimensions of
the garage with the coordinating size of the garage door
prior to commencing installation.
Minimum inside width of garage
= Coordinating width + 180mm
Minimum height of garage ceiling
= Coordinating height + 120mm (this is sufficient when
installing an operator as well)
Minimum rebate width left and right = 55mm
Combinations of letters / numbers, e.g. S8, refer to the
corresponding fastening material in the illustrations
section; parts suffixed by an subscript L or R, e.g. 1
(look for marks on the parts) must only be used corre-
spondingly right or left, parts without subscript can be
used both left and right. Numbers in square brackets,
e. g. [1.05 a], refer to the corresponding illustrations in
the illustrations section.
All information relating to left or right assembly applies
from the inside of the garage looking out! All dimen-
sions in millimetres. Subject to technical alterations.

Lay wood or similar protective material (to guard against
scratches) under the angular frames 1
Depending on the rebate width, bolt the wall anchor 7
loosely to the angular frames 1
S12.
( 1a ) Rebate width 55 - 120mm: Set the wall anchor 7 fac-
ing inwards [

( 1b ) Rebate wider than 120mm: Set the wall anchor 7
facing outwards [

If using other fasteners, make sure their load absorp-
tion capacity is at least equal to that of the wall an-
chors supplied 7.
Always fasten the bolt S6 pointing outwards through the
wall anchor 7 [
].

Caution: The nut S12 must never be on the inside. This
would impair functional reliability! [
Fasten the lower spring mount 6 at the lower end using two
nuts and bolts S6 + S12 [

Assembly of the anchor tracks. The anchor track 27 is
intended to be used for all suspension tasks and must be
split into the necessary sections.
