ADJUSTMENT OF IDLING
SPEED
In order to perform this operation correctly,
we advise you to do it when the engine
is hot, connecting an electric revolution
counter to the spark plug wire. Then use
a screwdriver on register screw A to
calibrate the minimum with 1900 R.P.M.

Whenever the accelerator shows unloaded
travel exceeding 3 mm, measured from the
edge of the handle, you should adjust it by
means of register A.
Push back protective cap 1. Loosen coun-
ternut 2 and turn adjusting screw 3.

Tighten the counternut and check that the
throttle twist grip turns smoothly.
ADJUSTING THE FORK
(RACING)
1
The hydraulic rebound damper determines
the behaviour of the telescopic fork during
extension and can be adjusted by means
of screw 1. Turning the screw clockwise in-
creases the action of the rebound damper;
turning it anticlockwise decreases the ac-
tion of the rebound damper.
For standard calibration, refer to page 11.
ADJUSTING THE SPRING
PRELOAD (RACING)
2
Spring preload is adjusted by means of
screw 2. Turning clockwise will increase
the preload, while rotating counter- clock-
wise decreases the preload.
For standard calibration, refer to page
11.
