9.3. Filter stage [C]:
Except for the installed filter cartridge, the design of the third filter stage is
identical to the second filter stage [B]. This third filter stage contains the
activated charcoal cartridge (Art. No. 157362). The activated charcoal
filter can only be used with the filter stages [A] and [B] preceding.
Note!
Activated charcoal filter cartridge:
• Fibre-bound activated charcoal
• Surface 300 cm²
9.4. Air outlet module [D]:
The required spray pressure can be precisely adjusted with the pres-
sure adjustment knob [1-5] at the pressure regulation valve [1-4]. The
pressure is displayed on the pressure gauge [1-3]. The pressure regula-
tion valve ensures a continuous spray pressure. The outlet module is
equipped with a ball valve [1-6], connection thread G ¼ a.
10. Maintenance
• Filters can only be maintained and serviced when depressurised!
• Sintered filter [A]/Art. No. 22160 and filter housings [1-8], [1-12]
have to be cleaned after 6 months at the latest; replace sintered filter,
if necessary!
• The fine filter cartridge [B]/Art. No. 148270 has to be replaced
every 6 months at the latest!
• The activated charcoal cartridge [C]/Art. No. 157362 has to be
replaced every 3 months at the latest!
• When the compressed air is heavily contaminated, the filter
cartridges have to be exchanged in shorter intervals!
• Saturated filter cartridges may cause quality problems during paint
jobs. Furthermore, using a supplied-air respirator could then be harm-
ful, causing permanent health damage and even death!
• Depressurise filter (close shut-off tap)
• Unscrew [3] the respective filter housing with the pin spanner included
in the delivery.
