► Do not expose the product to temperatures below -10 °C (14 °F) or
above +60 °C (140 °F) (e.g. sauna, excessive sunlight, drying on a
radiator).
5 Preparation for use
NOTICE
Orthotic joints not aligned in parallel
Malfunction of the locking mechanism
► Use the 743R6 orthotic joint alignment fixture.
► Make sure the orthotic joints lock simultaneously in the extension stop.
Use the following connecting elements for the insertion zones:
Side bars
Lamination joint bars
Shaping the bars
1) Secure the bars on the orthotic joint using the screws and check the
alignment on the model.
2) Mark the insertion zone on the bar.
3) Loosen the screws of the bars and adapt the bars with bending irons.
4) Fasten the shaped bars to the orthotic joint using the screws.
5) Repeat the steps until the desired result is obtained.
