2) Connect the round plug of the power supply to the receptacle on the battery charger so that
the plug locks into place.
INFORMATION: Ensure correct polarity (guide lug). Do not use force when connecting
the cable plug to the battery charger.

During the charging process the current battery charge level is indicated by the LEDs on the bat­
tery charger (##01869, pos. 2-5) lighting up in sequence (Status signals).
Querying battery charge level on prosthetic system
The battery charge level can be queried at any time.
1) With the prosthetic system switched on, press the charging receptacle button and hold for
less than one second.
2) The LED display on the charging receptacle provides information on the current battery
charge level (Status signals).

7 Preparation for Use

7.1 Reducing the length of the wrist unit cuff

The length of the Hook's wrist unit cuff can be reduced as required for adaptation to the patient.
► Use scissors to cut along the marked grooves (see fig. 7).
7.2 Settings
The product settings can be adjusted by means of Bluetooth data transfer and the AxonSoft
560X500=* software. For this purpose, a wireless connection must be established between the
AxonMaster 13E500 and the PC with the help of the BionicLink PC 60X5.

AxonSoft 560X500=* software.
8 Use

8.1 Changing the Axon-Bus gripping component

Attaching the Axon-Bus gripping component to the socket
1) Slide the gripping component on to the socket until it locks in place audibly.
2) Verify proper attachment by pulling on the gripping component.
1) Connect the charging plug to the charging receptacle of the
product.
→ The correct connection of the battery charger to the product is
indicated by feedback (see Page 26).
2) The charging process starts.
→ The Axon-Bus prosthetic system is switched off automatically.
3) Disconnect the product after the charging process is complete.
