Unallowable combination of prosthetic components
Risk of injury due to breakage or deformation of the product
► Only combine the product with prosthetic components that are
approved for that purpose.
► Based on the instructions for use of the prosthetic components,
verify that they may be combined with each other.
CAUTION
Reuse on other persons and improper cleaning
Skin irritation, formation of eczema or infections due to contamina­
tion with germs
► The product may be used by one person only.
► Clean the product regularly.
NOTICE
Use under unallowable environmental conditions
Damage to product due to unallowable environmental conditions
► Do not expose the product to unallowable environmental condi­
tions.
► If the product has been exposed to unallowable environmental
conditions, check it for damage.
► If damage is apparent or in case of doubt, do not continue using
the product.

► Take suitable measures if required (e.g. cleaning, repair,
replacement, inspection by the manufacturer or a specialist
workshop, etc.).
NOTICE
Use of powder (e.g. baby powder, talcum)
Loss of function of prosthetic components due to clogging with
particles or deprivation of lubricant
► Keep the product away from powders.
► Inform the patient.

► Observe the alignment, assembly and adjustment instructions.
Installing the one-way valve
Required materials:

647H23 Bonding agent, 617S7=20 Plastazote
1) Unscrew the pin from the liner.
2) Only for 6A40: Release the set screw (see fig. 2, item 2).
3) Unscrew the ratchet unit (see fig. 2, item 1) from the shuttle lock.
