Safety notes for LiPo batteries.
Keep the battery away from children.
• Take particular care when handling battery packs with a large
number of cells. Take great care over insulation to prevent the
risk of electric shock.
• If electrolyte should escape, do not expose it to fire, as the mate-
rial is highly inflammable and may ignite. If an explosion or fire
should occur, never attempt to extinguish it with water. Use only
dry extinguishing agents (sand, etc.), or cover the fire to extingu-
ish the flames.
• Do not allow fluid electrolyte to come into contact with eyes. If this
should happen, flush with copious amounts of water and contact
a doctor without delay.
• Fluid electrolyte can also be removed from clothing and other
objects by rinsing with copious amounts of water.
• Do not expose the LiPo battery to extremes of low / high tem-
perature or direct sunlight. Never heat or incinerate the pack, or
place it in a microwave oven. Ideally batteries should be stored
and charged in a fireproof container.
• Do not subject the battery to pressure or shock loads, and never
deform or throw the pack. Protect batteries from accident or crash
damage. Damaged batteries must not be re-used.
• Never place the charger and / or the connected batteries on an
inflammable or electrically conductive surface. Do not operate
the charger in the vicinity of inflammable materials or gases.
Charging the battery inside the model may result in the model
being destroyed by fire if a defect should occur. The battery must
not be left unsupervised during the charge process and when in
use.
Read the charger instructions carefully before charging the batte-
ry.
• Do not charge batteries that are at a high or very low temperature.
Allow the battery to cool down or warm up to 20 - 30°C before
charging.
• Only cells of the same capacity and of the same make may be
charged together in a pack.
• Ensure correct polarity of the battery and avoid short-circuits,
particularly with uninsulated connector systems.
• If the battery comes into contact with water, or if damp penetrates
the battery, there is a danger of explosion due to short-circuit.

• Never charge the battery with reverse polarity.
• Never solder directly to the battery.
• Do not modify or open the battery.
• Never charge the battery above 4.2 Volt (+/-0.05 V) per cell, or
discharge to below 3 Volt per cell.
• Charge the battery only with a suitable LiPo battery charger con-
nected to an Equalizer / Balancer; never connect it directly to a
mains power supply.
• Do not use the battery in areas subject to high levels of static
electricity.
• Any of these errors can result in damage to the battery, explosion
or fire.

Since robbe Modellsport is not in a position to monitor the
handling of these batteries, we expressly deny all liability and
guarantee claims where the batteries have been incorrectly
charged, discharged or handled.

This symbol attached to an item of electrical and electronic equipment means
that you must dispose of it separately from the general household waste when
it reaches the end of its useful life.
Take your unwanted equipment to your local specialist waste col-
lection point or recycling centre. This applies to all countries of the
European Union, and to other European countries with a separate
waste collection system.
Dear customer, you have purchased one of our range of battery-operated
products. The rechargeable battery will last a very long time, but eventually
you will need to dispose of it. Exhausted batteries must never be discarded
in the domestic waste. Battery users are legally required to take unwanted
batteries to a suitable collection point. Old batteries contain valuable materials
which can be re-used. The environment and robbe are grateful to you for your
cooperation.
The rubbish bin symbol means: dry and rechargeable batter-
ies must not be discarded in the household refuse.
