LOCK FUNCTION/BUTTON LOCK

The appliance can be locked to pre-
vent unintentional operation of the ap-
pliance.
Switching on the lock function:
1.
Simultaneously tap the "+" and
"-" buttons.
2.
When "L" is shown in the dis-
play, the lock function is active.
The display will then alternately
show the selected temperature or
power level and "L". Settings can
no longer be made. Only the EIN/
AUS button can be activated to
switch off the appliance

COOKING WITH TIME CONTROL

This function makes it possible to program the appliance so that it automatically
switches off after a specified time.
1.
First, select the desired function
as described above (heating power
or temperature).
2.
Press the "FUNCTION" button
until the indicator lamp, "ZEIT",
is flashing and "0" appears in the
display.
3.
Then within five seconds press the
"+" button or "-" button to enter
the desired number of minutes.
The minutes can be entered in
5-minute increments; the maxi-
mum time that can be set is 180
minutes.

Switching off the lock function

Simultaneously tap the "+" and
"-" buttons again. When only
the selected temperature level or
power level is displayed, the lock
function is switched off.

Note: As soon as the appliance
is disconnected from the mains,
the lock function is no longer
switched on; if necessary it must
be activated again.

If you do not make any settings
within five seconds, the time pro-
gramming is completed and the
appliance returns to the initial
state.
5.
During the cooking process, the
heat level or temperature level
and the remaining time are dis-
played alternately.
6.
When the programmed time is
reached the appliance automati-
cally switches off.
7.
The appliance can be switched
off at any time during the cook-
