3. Then within three seconds press the „+" or „-" button to enter the desired
number of minutes. The minutes can be entered in 1-minute increments,
the maximum time that can be set is 3 hours.
4. If you do not make any settings within four seconds, the time programming
is concluded and the appliance returns to the initial state.
5. When cooking, the heat or temperature level and the remaining time are
displayed alternately. Meanwhile you can also still change the heating or
temperature level.
6. When the programmed (i.e. set time) is reached the appliance automatically
switches off.
7. The appliance can be switched off at any time when cooking by pressing the
START/STOP button.
8. The set times are not saved at the end of the program or if the program is
cancelled.
9. The fan continues to run for about 30 seconds after the end of the program.
10. If the program is not controlled by the timer, the appliance automatically
switches off after two hours at the latest.
11. After use, unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet to save energy.
12. Caution: Do not allow the appliance to run unattended during the cooking
program!
CAUTION:
The glass cooktop can become hot from the heat radiated from pots or pans.
Therefore, do not touch the surface immediately after cooking.

LOCKING FUNCTION

To prevent unintended operation of the appliance, operation of the appliance can
be disabled.
Switch on the locking mechanism:
1. Press the button „LOCK".
2. As soon as the „LOCK" indicator light is illuminated, the locking mechanism
is active. Settings can no longer be made.
Switching off the locking mechanism
3. Tap the „LOCK" button again and keep it depressed for four seconds. When
only the selected temperature and power level are displayed and the „LOCK"
indicator light goes out, the locking mechanism is switched off.
4. Note: As soon as the appliance is disconnected from the mains supply the
locking mechanism is no longer switched on and if necessary must be acti-
vated again.
