- Upon completing installation, connect workshop ground circuit to lift structure so as to avoid any electrostatic discharge ac-
cumulation.
4.4.5 FILLING OF THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM AND ALIGNMENT OF THE RUNWAYS
WARNING: Always check for any oil leak. In case of leaks, cut power off, and tighten any loose union.
To raise the runways, proceed as follows:
1) Unscrew the oil filling plug (21, Fig. 11) and fill the tank (22, Fig. 11) with 10 l hydraulic oil, type ESSO NUTO H32 or equivalent (viscosity ISO VG 32).
2) Press the UP push-button (20, Fig. 1) and lift runways by 10 cm.
4) Remove the 4 stands (1, Fig. 10) from the runways.
5) Check that the runways hooked to the bearing ropes are at the same height from the floor close to each column. If necessary, adjust the ropes (6, Fig.
10) using the fastening nuts (18, Fig. 10) at the top of the columns until the runways are perfectly aligned with the floor. Finally, fasten the rope ends with the
nut and the checknut (18, Fig. 6).
6) Press the DOWN push-button (21, Fig. 3). The runways will be lowered slowly until the mechanical safety locks are engaged.
7) Check that the runways locked by the safety locks are at the same height from the floor close to each column.
If necessary, adjust the vertical position of the drilled bars (9, Fig. 10) using the fastening screws (17, Fig. 10) until the runways are perfectly aligned with the
floor. Finally tighten the screws with the nut, as shown in Fig. 18.
8) Press the DOWN push-button (21, Fig. 1) and the mechanical safety lock release push-button (22, Fig. 1) simultaneously. Keep them pressed until the
runways stop at the safety height determined by the operation of the FCS limit switch.
9) Press the LOWERING COMPLETION push-button until the runways are at 1-2 cm from the floor.
4.4.6 FIXING THE COLUMNS TO THE FLOOR
1) Lean the columns against the nylon rear guides (16, Fig, 10) of the crossbeams and check their centring.
2) Drill 16 110-mm deep anchoring holes in the floor (Fig. 15) using a 16 mm drill. Then carefully clean the holes and the floor.
3) Fit the 16 M16 anchor bolts (type HILTI HSA-A M16x140/25) (1, Fig. 15) hitting gently with a hammer.
4) Tighten the anchor bolts (1, Fig. 15) to 100 Nm. If the dowels spin freely, they should be replaced with larger dowels.
5) Put the columns in the upright position in both directions using a level; if necessary, loosen the nuts and place the shims under the column bases as
needed. Tighten the nuts.
4.4.7 DECALS AND PICTOGRAMS APPLICATION
Attach the decals supplied with this manual to the lift in the positions shown in the diagram in Figure 5.
WARNING: Failure to attach the decals will make the warranty null and void and the manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage
resulting from lift operation.
In the event one or more decals of the lift are damaged, or so deteriorated as to become illegible or are lost, contact the seller with the position number shown
in Fig. 5. Attach the new decals at the correct positions on the lift as soon as possible.
