5.0 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
WARNING: Carefully read the indications set forth in sect. "General Safety and Accident-Prevention Rules".
WARNING: Before carrying out any operation using the control panel, make sure that nobody is close to the lift.
5.1 PUSH-BUTTON PANEL
The operations to be carried out using the push-button panel are:
5.1.1 LIFT LIFTING
• Check that EMERGENCY SWITCH/DISCONNECTOR/OFF (17, Fig.1) is set to 1 (ON), turn it if necessary. The VOLTAGE WARNING LED
(18, Fig. 1) will light.
• Press the UP push-button (20, Fig. 1) until the desired height is reached.
• Press the DOWN push-button (21, Fig.1) until the mechanical safety locks are fully engaged to complete the braking phase.
5.1.2 LIFT LOWERING
• Press the UP push-button (20, Fig. 1) and the SAFETY LOCK RELEASE push-button (22, Fig. 1) simultaneously to allow the lifting of the runways by
20÷25 mm before the beginning of the lowering phase as well as the release of the safety locks.
• Press the DOWN push-button (21, Fig. 1) while simultaneously keeping the SAFETY LOCK RELEASE push-button pressed until the desired height is
reached or until the runways stop (about 15 cm from the floor due to FCS limit switch operation).
For a complete lowering of the runways:
DANGER: Before using the lift, make sure that no unauthorised persons or animals are present within the hazardous area
(1, Fig. 2).
This check shall always be carried out before completing lift lowering movement, as this last phase has to be considered as particularly dan-
gerous for any people standing close to the hazardous areas delimited by the yellow stripe (Fig. 2).
• Press the DOWN push-button (22, Fig. 1) until the minimum height is reached.
5.1.3 BRAKING POSITION
• Press the UP push-button (20, Fig. 1) until the desired height is reached.
• Press the DOWN push-button (21, Fig.1); runways will slowly move downward until the mechanical safety lock is fully engaged.
WARNING: This operation shall always be carried out after each lifting before accessing the work area.
5.1.4 EMERGENCY SWITCH / DISCONNECTOR/OFF
WARNING: Before accessing the work area under the lift, the emergency switch/disconnector (17, Fig. 1) shall compulsorily be
turned to 0 (OFF).
WARNING: Do not access the lift runways when the VOLTAGE WARNING LED (18, Fig. 1) is on.
WARNING: Before leaving lift unattended, besides turning the Emergency Switch/Disconnector (17, Fig. 1) to 0 (OFF), the operator
MUST also mechanically lock its rotating movement by inserting a padlock (NOT supplied with the lift) in the special hole.
