1.2 Adhesives and symbols

ATTENTION - read carefully.
Read the instructions carefully before using the
motor drive pump.
DANGER - explosion.
Always fill the fuel deposit and or add oil when
the motor is stopped. Do not over fill the de-
posit to ensure no fuel escapes. Do not star t up the motor drive
pump near flammable material, such as gasoline or petrol which
are highly explosive.
DANGER - intoxication.
Do not operate the motor drive pump in closed
environments such as garages, tunnels, pits,
etc. Keep the exhaust pipe completely free of foreign bodies. During
operation carbon monoxide generates, an extremely toxic, odour-
less and colourless gas, which provokes strong nausea, fainting and
in some cases death.
DANGER - hot surfaces.
Do not touch the motor or hot par ts when the
motor drive pump is in operation or shortly after
it has been stopped. The combustion gas exhaust pipe reaches high
temperatures. Do not remove the protective devices which may
contain such parts.

1.3. Location of security stickers

These stickers advice of the potential dangers of serious accidents.
Read the stickers' information on the safety advice and precautions
which are included in this manual.
If any of the stickers have been lost or appear blurred please con-
tact the authorised distributors and request new stickers.

2. GENERALITIES

2.1 Introduction

The objective of the instructions provided is to facilitate the
correct installation and yield levels for our motor drive pump.
The range is comprised of equipment designed to supply water for
domestic, service and industrial applications in places where there
is no electricity supply. A mobile facility of a purely temporary
nature.
