3. INSTALLATION
3.1 Location
DANGER - intoxication.
Do not operate the motor drive pump in closed envi-
ronments such as garages, tunnels, pits, etc. Keep the
exhaust pipe completely free of foreign bodies. During operation
carbon monoxide -an extremely toxic, odourless and colourless gas,
which provokes strong nausea, fainting and in some cases dea-
th- generates. The installation of the motor drive pump should be
carried out on a flat surface. If installed on a slope it may become
displaced during operation and activate the oil alarm.
DANGER - risk of electrocution.
Do not use the motor drive pump in rain or snow. Do not
carry out operations with wet or damp hands, or with
wet feet or in bare feet as the user runs a risk of electrocution.
Never direct a spout of water pressure at the motor drive pump, as
this may prompt the risk of electric shock.
Connection (x2)
Bracket (x3)
For good access during maintenance operations a secure distance
should be maintained between the wall, motor drive pump etc. The
minimum recommended distance is of 1 metre.

3.2 Protection
Regulations recognise these motor drive pumps as mobile ma-
chinery for temporary use. Where a fixed piece of equipment is
required for permanent or temporary use the governing European
directives on machinery apply.
3.3 Motor preparation
Repairs necessary due to misuse on the part of the user are not
covered under the guarantee.
without oil as this may cause irreparable damage. (ONLY fill
the deposit with super unleaded or gasoline). In the case of spilling
gasoline on the motor drive pump clean up the spillage with a clean
cloth before starting up the motor).
3.4 Water input connection
Connect the water by means of a commercial hose, in addition to
the corresponding connector and bracket. To ensure the highest
yield from the motor drive pump the input hose should be conti-
nuous and rigid, with a length no longer than the recommended level
and near the water source. The auto-suction time should be propor-
tional to the input hose. The filter which is supplied by the spring
should be installed at the end of the hose connector as shown in
the following diagram.
