20. Children are not aware of the risks resulting from electrical appli-
ances and cutting tools. Therefore the slicer must not be used
by children.
21. In order to avoid injuries, the rest holder has to be placed on the
carriage, as soon as the food is small enough to place the rest
holder.
22. Always use the rest holder for slicing of small pieces of food.
23. The appliance must not be used for any other than the provided
purpose. Only use it for cutting food, that does not contain bones
or any other hard parts.
24. After use of the slicer and before cleaning it, pull the plug out of
the socket and adjust the cutting width to 0.
25. Please avoid any contact between the power cord and the knife
or any other sharp edges.
26. The knife is very sharp, be very cautious when cleaning it!
27. Inexpert handling and repairs may entail serious risks to the
user. Repairs should only be performed by our after sales service.
28. The slicer is provided for domestic use and is not suitable for
commercial use. Only use it for slicing household quantities.
29. Do not use the appliance with accessories of other manufactur-
ers or brands, to prevent damage.
30. Disconnect the appliance from the wall socket after use and
prior to cleaning. Never leave the appliance unattended when it
is connected to the wall socket.
31. Never open the casing of the slicer. There is danger of electric
shock.
32. Check the appliance, the wall socket and the lead cable regularly
for wear or damage. In case the lead cable or other parts appear
damaged, please send the appliance or the base to our after
sales service for inspection and repair. Unauthorised repairs can
constitute serious risks for the user and void the warranty.
Caution! The knife is very sharp, risk of injuries!
Never open the housing of the appliance. This can result in electric
shock.
The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if
repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties.
