3.2. INTENDED USE

For controlled tightening and loosening of screws and nuts.
For left and right-hand tightening.
For industrial use.
Only use if there is reliable stability and sufficient freedom of movement.
Keep the handle clean. If dirty, clean before use.
Check that the device is in perfect functional condition and is safe to operate before use.
Use only in a technically perfect and safe condition.
If the device is dropped or collides with other objects, do not use again until it has been thor-
oughly checked and calibrated.
Use only in combination with plug-in heads that are suitable in shape and design.
Have the wrench regularly calibrated and adjusted.
Always cover unused bushes.

3.3. REASONABLY FORESEEABLE MISUSE

Avoid vibration, abrupt movement, shaking, impacts.
Do not exceed maximum torque of torque wrench, hexagon socket, plug-in head and screw at-
tachment.
Do not use the wrench as an impact tool, do not throw it.
Open the casing only at the battery cover to change the batteries.
Do not use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Not for use where there is exposure to intense heat, direct sunlight, naked flames or liquids.
Do not operate outdoors or in rooms with high atmospheric humidity.
Do not make any unauthorised changes or modifications.
Do not mount components not in accordance with the specification.

3.4. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

Comply with the national and regional regulations for safety and accident prevention. Select and
provide protective work wear such as safety shoes and safety gloves appropriate for the risks asso-
ciated with the intended activities.

3.5. APPLIED STANDARDS

Calibrated in accordance with EN ISO 6789-2:2017. Calibration certificate in accordance with EN
ISO 6789-2:2017.

Damage to the torque wrench or to the screw fastening.
» Check the torque specified for the object to be tightened.
» Do not exceed the maximum torque for the torque wrench.
» Apply the wrench only at right angles to the fastener.
» Do not use any extensions or universal joints.
» Tighten screw fastenings with an evenly applied force.
» Do not tighten the fastening past the wrench triggering point.
