11.2. TIGHTENING PROCEDURE

ü Desired measurement mode is set; correct settings configured.

ü If necessary, workflow is called up [} Page 39] or screw case is called up [} Page 37].
ü Hexagon socket firmly attached to torque wrench and locked into place.
1. Set tightening direction via the reversing level on the reversible ratchet in accordance with the
settings configured in the measurement mode.
2. Apply the torque wrench at right angles to the nut or bolt.
3. Apply force to the centre of the handle tangentially to the swivel radius until the desired
torque or angle of rotation is reached.
» The current torque value/angle of rotation value is displayed.
» When the set torque value/angle of rotation value is reached, the current value is shown in
green and the signal ring lights up green.
CAUTION! Once the desired torque/angle of rotation is reached, end tightening pro-
cedure immediately.
4. Confirm the value using the Send button in order to continue with the next tightening proced-
ure.

11.3. CORRECTING SCREW CASES THAT WERE NOT PERFORMED CORRECTLY

1. If a screw case was not performed correctly:
» Torque wrench indicates that operation was not performed correctly and asks whether you
wish to repeat the procedure.
2. Enter password if necessary. To repeat the process, confirm by pressing the Lower function
button.
3. Loosen screw and check workpiece for damage.
4. If necessary, repeat tightening procedure with a new screw.
» The incorrectly performed screw case is saved and marked as red in the History .

11.4. TRANSFER DATA TO SMARTPHONE OR COMPUTER

11.4.1. Transfer data to app via Bluetooth

ü Torque wrench connected to Hoffmann CT app via Bluetooth.
1. All settings and data are transferred automatically to the app.
2. History can be exported as a CSV file via the app.

11.4.2. Transfer data to computer via Bluetooth HID

ü In "Connection", "HID" is activated.
ü In "Data transfer", "Send button" is activated.
ü Corresponding program (for example spreadsheet program) opened and cursor placed in cor-
rect position.
1. Connect torque wrench with computer via Bluetooth.
2. After tightening procedure, press send button.
» Values are transferred to program.

11.4.3. Transfer data to computer via USB cable

1. Connect torque wrench to computer via USB cable and switch on.
» Torque wrench is identified as a data carrier.
2. Transfer CSV file from torque wrench to computer.
