OBSERVED FAULTS, POSSIBLE CAUSES AND REMEDIES
OBSERVED FAULT
• The water cleaner won't start (pressing the
•
black key of the magneto-thermal switch (1))
• During operation the machine stops and the
•
magneto-thermal switch (1) switches off
• The water jet is regular but its pressure
•
values are very low
• H.P. pump oil shows water traces
• The pump works with irregular pulsations,
•
pressure variations and noise
CAUSES
• Electrical supply interrupted/insufficient
• Burnt fuse (T.S. only)
• Electrical supply interrupted/insufficient
• Thermal relay intervention for excessive
•
current absorption
• Clogged lance nozzle
• Wrong nozzle
• Bypass valve not calibrated or dirty
• Pump body side sealing ring worn out
• High moisture percentace in the air
• Worn out seals
• Air suction in the water entrance pipe
• Detergent tap open and empty detergent tank
• Blocked bypass valve
• Pump seals worn out
• Inlet/delivery valves obstructed,
•
dirty or worn out
• The machine is started without discharging
•
the air completely from the circuit
• Worn out bearings

REMEDIES
• Check power supply characteristics
• Check electrical connections
• Replace de fuse
• Check power supply characteristics
• Check electrical connections
• Check that the water nozzle corresponds to
•
the declared stock one
• Clean the water nozzle
• Adjust the bypass valve
• Clean the nozzle
• Replace the nozzle
• Clean and calibrate the valve
• Check and/or replace the sealing ring
• Replace oil twice in comparison with
•
prescribed frequency
• Replace seals
• Check that the water entrance pipe and
•
the water filter tap are tightly closed
• Fill the detergent tank and close the tap
• Remove the valve and clean it
• Replace the seals
• Check closure surfaces of the valves and
•
clean them
• Disconnect the washing lance and let the H.P.
•
pump work for a few seconds
• Replace the bearings
