7. Sterilize the high-speed handpiece [→ 54].

Disinfect the quick coupling with disinfectant wipes.
Observe the manufacturer's instructions for using the
instrument disinfectant.
9. Wipe the disinfectant off with a clean, lint-free cloth.
10. Purge the individual connections of the quick coupling with
compressed air for at least 10 seconds.
