5 Preparing the product for use

5.1 Installing the Adapter Plate

CAUTION
Using a wrong prosthetic socket
Contusions and pressure sores due to wrong socket fit
► Use the vacuum pump only in combination with a prosthetic socket
made with Harmony technology.
5.1.1 Preparing the Adapter Plate
A vacuum can be generated in the socket either via the proximal or the later­
al connector of the adapter plate.
INFORMATION
Using the proximal connector of the adapter plate is recommended only
when using a 5R2 lamination disc or the 6A94=3 TEC plate (with TPU
insert respectively). The lateral connector for the intake hose can be recog­
nised by the internal thread for the hose connector.
