2.4 - Lower beam adjustment
• Press the SELECT/ENTER key for 2 seconds in answer to the message:
BEAM CONFIRM? on the display.
The following message will appear after confirmation:
REGULATION BEAM.
After 2 seconds, this will
PUT INCLINATION, subsequently followed by the percentage tilt
appearing at that time on the Headlight Centering device.
For example: INCLINATION =3.5%
• To modify the displayed value, turn the handwheel situated at the rear of
the optic chamber until the desired tilt value appears on the display
itself.
• Confirmation of the selected value is obtained by keeping the
SELECT/ENTER button depressed for 2 seconds.
The equipment will automatically monitor the tilt throughout the entire
operation.
If the tilt setting handwheel is accidentally hit and the set value altered, the
operator will be warned by the message PUT INCLINATION and a ringing
signal which appears on the display, followed by an indication of the new
accidentally set value.
It will now be necessary to set the desired tilt again as illustrated at the
beginning of this chapter.
NOTA BENE:
Remember that the required tilt value is the one indicated by the vehicle
Manufacturer, or that established by the laws in the Country in which the
vehicle is used.
Go on with the dimmers adjustment according to the instruction being
displayed on the monitor.
The arrows show the adjustment to be carried out in order to correct the
projector position.
