Regulation to high dazzle
•
Access to this function is achieved by keeping the SELECT/ENTER key
for 2 seconds in answer to the message TO HIGH DAZZLE
CONFIRM? on the display.
The following message appears REGULATION TO HIGH DAZZLE
following confirmation.
Followed, after 2 seconds, by the message: PUT INCLINATION =0.
•
Turn the handwheel at the rear of the optic chamber to set the tilt value
to zero.
A ringing signal will confirm the obtained value, while the instrument will
immediately start to analyse the beam of light produced by the headlight.
If the tilt setting handwheel is accidentally hit and the set value altered, the
operator would be warned by the message PUT INCLINATION =0 and by
a ringing signal.
Supposing that the following message appears on the display:
TO HIGH DAZZLE
In this case, the two arrows tell the operator that to proceed with adjustment,
the headlight must be positioned upwards ( ) and towards the left ( ) by
means of the relative adjuster screws.
The operator is guided through the operation by the display messages
without the possibility of error. Adjustment terminates when the following
message appears on the display: TO HIGH DAZZLE OK followed by a
ringing signal.

Briefly depress the SELECT/ENTER key to return to the main menu and
to the TYPE OF REGULATION option.
It will now be possible to proceed with a new adjustment.
•
Keep the ESC/OFF key depressed for 2 seconds to switch off the
headlight centering unit.
NOTA BENE:
Long-Range beams can be regulated in the same way as driving beams.
