Installation
1) The selection, combination and installation of the lock, lock plates, profile cylinder
and rod handle (spindle size 9 mm) must be performed according to the technical
documents provided by the (individual) manufacturer.
NOTE!
See Planning Manual Winkhaus/product range door locking systems for lock and lock
plates. Selection for rod handle for the manufacturer of DO numbers see appendix 4!
DANGER! IMPORTANT ADVICE! ABSOLUTELY VITAL TO READ THIS!
Panic door locks and Emergency door locks can block if not fitted with the correct
cylinder. In this case the escape door can not be opened and/or the locking mecha-
nism can be destroyed.
To avoid blocking of the lock, the key is not in the lock cylinder must be allowed stuck!
To avoid a blockage in an anti panic door lock, they must be fitted only with profile
cylinders, which are designed especially for use in anti panic doors, e.g. so-called free
to turn cylinder for transmission lock (FZG).
Therefore the profile cylinder must have a free to turn function, for example Wink-
haus cylinder in specification .../15 (e.g. double cylinder DZ 01/15, DZ 06/15; half
cylinder HZ 02/15) with anti blockade function.
Especially with electronic cylinders has to be due to an increased drag effect to a
secure case default!
Furthermore the bit position has to be max. ± 30°.
In case of any doubt contact your cylinder supplier or manufacturer!
2) The locking system is only suited for the installation of a rod handle set (e.g. fixed
knob outside/rod handle inside).
DANGER!
If an electric locking system, blueMotion (BM), is used as a panic lock, an accumula-
tor with charging connection (article no. 2121455) is to be inserted!
