3) The doors must be checked to ensure that they have been installed properly (e.g.
correct air gap and alignment, residual air gap (between the lock and the keep)

used, they are to be installed by taking their intended function into consideration

The maximum possible unlocking forces (release forces) are ensured via the ad-
justment of the latch bolt operation, not via the adjustment of the hooks. The hooks

must run freely into the lock plate.
5) The panicLock 1125 is only to be used for swing doors (one sash) or for French

doors (two sashes) provided with a fixed sash to be opened in case of need.
6) Fixation material for different doors (made of wood, plastics or metal):

Lock and lock plates: screws of max. 4 x ... mm (length depending on the door

7) The actuation rod should normally be installed at a height of between 900 mm and
1100 mm above the surface of the finished floor with the door closed. If it is known
that most of the users are small children, a lower height of the actuation rod should
be taken into consideration.
8) The actuation rod should be installed in such a way that the maximum possible
effective rod length is achieved.
9) Other closing units than the ones described in this standard should not be installed
for keeping the door closed in locked position, provided that the written consent of
the competent authority has not been obtained.
10) This pictogram should be provided at the inner side of the door,
directly above the actuation rod or at the actuation rod itself, if it
has a sufficiently large and even area for the marking.
