4.9 Preparation/installation
NB: Check that the fireplace is undamaged before installation
begins. The product is heavy! Ensure you have help when
positioning and installing it.
After unpacking the insert take out the box with contents. To
make the product lighter, remove the door.

1. Open the door.
2. Tap out the hinge pins and pull out the door.

3. To make the installation easier, remove the burn plates (fig.
3 B-G/F), baffle plate (fig. 3 c-A), exhaust deflector (fig. 3 C-B),
log retainer (fig. 3 B-C), inner bottom (fig. 3 B-D), and grate
(fig. 3 B-E). See section "4.1 Replacing the burn plates, baffle
plate and exhaust deflector".
5.0 Mounting
NB: The base must be level. Max. 1 mm/m tolerance. This is extremely
important to ensure that the rest of the installation is correct.
All stones must be level. This has to be checked for each new
layer of stones. If necessary use small pieces of steel or silicon
to adjust the height of the stones.
Important!
Bear in mind that the stones may be damaged if they are
handled roughly. Do not knock the mounting brackets too hard.
Installation should be carried out by a qualified person.

Spirit level, allen key, folding ruler, wrench, rubber mallet and
hammer.

Dismount the insert's heat shield by unscrewing the upper
screw on both sides of the insert (fig. 5 A). Loosen the lower
screws (fig. 5 E) somewhat and pull the heat shield upwards
and then remove it.
2.
Lay the insert carefully down on its back (you can protect
the floor with the wooden pallet and cardboard packaging).
