4.9 Preparation/installation
NB: Check that the fireplace is undamaged before
installation begins. The product is heavy! Ensure you have
help when positioning and installing it.
After unpacking the insert take out the box with contents. To
make the product lighter, remove the door.

2. Tap out the hinge pins and pull out the door.

3. To make the installation easier, remove the burn plates (fi g.
3 B-G/F), baffl e plate (fi g. 3 c-A), exhaust defl ector (fi g. 3
C-B), log retainer (fi g. 3 B-C), inner bottom (fi g. 3 B-D), and
grate (fi g. 3 B-E). See section "4.1 Replacing the burn
plates, baffl e plate and exhaust defl ector"

5.0 Mounting

NB: The base must be level. Max. 1 mm/m tolerance.
This is extremely important to ensure that the rest of the
installation is correct.
All stones must be level. This has to be checked for each
new layer of stones. If necessary use small pieces of steel
or silicon to adjust the height of the stones.
Important!
Bear in mind that the stones may be damaged if they are
handled roughly. Do not knock the mounting brackets
too hard. Installation should be carried out by a qualifi ed
person.

Spirit level, allen key, folding ruler, wrench, rubber mallet and
hammer.
