SETTING THE GUIDELINE (GUIDELINE)

Guideline displays a certain pattern on the LCD screen
so that you can easily set the image composition when
recording movie or photo images.
•
The miniDV camcorder provides 3 types of guidelines.
1. Set the Select switch to CARD or TAPE.
(SC-D383/D385 only)
2. Press the MODE button to set Camera (
3. Press the MENU button.
•
The menu list will appear.
4. Move the Joystick (▲/▼) up or down to select
"Display", then press the Joystick or move the
Joystick () to the right.
5. Move the Joystick (▲/▼) up or down to select
"Guideline", then press the Joystick.
6. Move the Joystick (▲/▼) up or down to select the
guideline display type, then press the Joystick.

Disables the function.
Records the subject placed in
Cross
the center as the most general
recording composition.
Records the subject on the
Grid
horizontal or vertical composition
or with close-up.
Records the subject within safety
zone which prevents from being cut
when editing in 4:3 for left and right

and 2.35:1 for top and bottom. Set

"Safety Zone" when you want to
have various subjects in one scene
with the proper size.
7. To exit, press the MENU button.

Positioning the subject at the cross point of the
guideline makes a balanced composition.
•
Guideline cannot be recorded on the images being
recorded.

El ajuste de la pantalla LCD está operativo en los
modos Camera (Cam) / M.Cam. ➥página 18

La guía muestra un patrón en la pantalla LCD de
MODE
forma que pueda ajustar fácilmente la composición de
la imagen al grabar video o imágenes fotográficas.
•
La videocámara con miniDV proporciona 3 tipos de guías.
1. Coloque el interruptor de Selección en CARD o
TAPE. (sólo SC-D383/D385)
2. Presione el botón MODE para fijarlo en Camera (Cam) (
3. Presione el botón MENU.

Aparece la lista del menú.
4. Mueva el Joystick (▲/▼) hacia arriba o hacia abajo
para seleccionar "Display (Pantalla)" y, a continuación,
presione el Joystick o mueva el Joystick (►) a la derecha.
5. Mueva el Joystick (▲/▼) hacia arriba o hacia abajo para
seleccionar "Guideline (Guía)" y presione el Joystick.
6. Mueva el Joystick (▲/▼) hacia arriba o hacia abajo
para seleccionar el tipo de visualización de fecha y
hora y presione el Joystick.
