De electrodehouder en de aardkabel worden aan respec-
tievelijk aan de positieve (13) en negatieve (14) pool ver-
bonden. De polariteit die het beste gebruikt kan worden
staat vermeld op de verpakking van de electroden.
Aansluiten van de toortskoelunit
Bevestig de module onder de stroombron. Bevestig de 4-
polige stekker (27) in de overeenkomstige aansluiting op
de stroombron (20). Bevestig het plaatje met de aan- en
afvoerleiding van het koelwater aan de achterzijde van
de stroombron met behulp van 2 boutjes in de daarvoor
bestemde draadgaten (3 en 4). De watergekoelde toorts
kan nu aangesloten worden op de draadkoffer. (Zie hier-
voor de gebruiksaanwijzing voor de MWF11/21). Het
koelvloeistofniveau is af te lezen in het peilglas (26).
Belangrijk: Voordat de koelunit aangezet wordt, dient de
o-ring op de blokkering van de vulhals ver-
wijderd te worden.
Filling with cooling liquid
Cooling liquid can be filled into the torch cooling unit by
opening the cover (23), pulling out the water tank and dis-
mounting the screw plug (24). The drain plug for filling up
(31) should be loosened.
The cooling unit should be filled up at maximum. In case
of problems when starting up, the drain plug (30) should
be opened. Close the drain plug when the system has
been drained.
Refillment of cooling liquid should be carried out behind
the front cover (23) (pull out the drawer in order to make
the filler neck accessible).
Aansluiten van de afstandbediening
Een afstandbediening kan worden aangesloten door de
plug op de 8-polige plug (15) vast te schroeven. De plug
wordt vastgemaakt door de kap erop te schroeven
Fitting of overlay foil
It is recommended to install the included overlay foil and
inset card after basic setting of the machine. The working
plans chosen by the manufacturer are printed on the front
of the inset card.
In case of changes in the choice of working plans, their
main parametres can be added to the reverse side of the
inset card.
Overlay foil is designed to partially cover the secondary
settings on the XMI boxes 76113650 and 76113655.

The overlay foil is fastened under the top screws for the
electronic control unit (fig. 3 page 95). If required, the foil
can also be fastened with tape along the bottom edge
(remove the paper strip).
After installation of the overlay foil there is no access to
parametre curve and change of the secondary functions.
However, the most frequently used functions during
operation can still be operated in a normal way.
If change of the secondary parametres is required, the
overlay foil can be removed and fitted again after setting.

Description of the automatic
voltage transformation module
Trolley for 2 bottles and equipped with an automatic
voltage transformation module enables connection with
the power source to the following mains voltages: 230-
400-440-500V.
The module automatically measures the mains voltage
and makes the necessary voltage transformation to
supply the power source. The module has a mains switch
(8). If the power down mode is enabled on the control
PCB (13) the module will automatically activate power
down after 40 min. without use of the welding power
source. When pushing the control knob (7) on the front,
the module will power up again. (Circuit diagram page
97).
We recommend use of the slope down function during
welding with large currents. Otherwise, transients that
decouple the machine may arise when the machine is
equipped with automatic change of voltage and
connected to 230V.
