Using the timer
You can use your handset as a timer
(short-term alarm clock). The maximum
time that can be set is 23 hours, 59 min-
utes and 59 seconds.
The timer continues to run during a call.
The timer cannot be started if the room
monitor (page 11) is activated.
Starting the timer

Press the timer key.

Enter the time in hours, min-
utes and seconds, then
press

The timer starts. You can see the remain-
ing time in the display. At the end of the
time you see
Countdown
an advisory tone if the timer finishes while
a phone call is in progress.
Press the control key to return

to idle status.
Cancelling the timer
The timer is running.

Restoring the handset default
settings
You can reset individual settings and
changes you have made. This will not
affect entries in the directory or the calls
list, or the handset's registration to the
base.

Care

Wipe the charging cradle and the hand-
set with a damp cloth (do not use sol-
vent) or an antistatic cloth.
Never use a dry cloth as this can cause
static.
Contact with liquid
¤
Switch the handset off immediately if it
comes into contact with liquid.

Do not switch the handset on under
any circumstances.
¤
Remove the batteries immediately.
Allow the liquid to drain from the handset.
Proceed only as follows:
