Start up

The multi-purpose handsaw is a very versatile manual power tool. Its cutting action and special discs make soft cuts in an
efficient way in a large variety of materials such as: wood up to 1" thick, soft piping and steel sheets 1/6" thick or plastic up to
1/6" thick.
It can also cut aluminum, copper, stainless steel, piping or cast iron sheets up to 1/6" thick, if the discs are lubricated while
cutting with a wax lubricating bar.
CAUTION
The tool does not cut masonry materials, cement or brick.
Start up
• Connect the plug into the power outlet.
• Keep the switch lock (B) depressed to unblock the switch (A).
The switch lock prevents from accidental start-ups.
• Press switch (A) to start the discs rotation.
• To stop the discs release switch (A).
Operation
• Use vices or brackets to fasten and keep the work piece fixed. Set them close to the
cutting line. Bear in mind that the work piece face looking down will have a better
finish. Mark the cutting line with a pencil.
• Firmly hold the tool with one hand grasping handle and
the other hand in the auxiliary handle. Always use both
hands. The tool must be placed in the right side of your
body to NEVER be aligned with the cutting disc. Keep a
stable position and good footing with both feet on the
ground.
• Keep the tool with a 30° inclination with the disc
perpendicular to the work piece.
CAUTION
• This tool is designed only for straight
cuts.
• Start the tool near the work piece and wait for the discs
to reach their maximum speed before starting to cut.
• Start cutting with a firm and continuous movement
using care not to force the tool.
The tool own weight will help to keep a soft movement.
At all times keep the tool into a 30° angle. Do not stop
until finishing the cut.
• Let the retractable guard to open as is pushed by the
work piece.
• When the cut is finished release the switch to shut off
the tool and wait until the cutting discs have completely
stopped to remove them from the work piece.
WARNING
DO NOT try to release the cutting discs
from the work piece while rotating.
• When sawing parallel to the edge or ripping use a
sawing guard or an edge guide. It increases the cutting precision and reduces the risk of bending the disc.
