Thermal characteristics
The operating temperature is 0 to 40 °C (8 hours at 45 °C), however optimum operation is within the +20

to +25 °C range.
Battery backup time is adversely affected by high and low temperatures. It is significantly reduced at
z
temperatures under 10 °C. Above 25 °C, battery service life is cut in half every 10 °C. Above 40 °C, battery
manufacturers no longer guarantee operation due to the risk of thermal runaway.
