hydromassage products are safe appliances, manufactured
according to EN 60335-1, EN 60335-2-105, EN 55014-1, EN
55014-2 norms. They are tested during production to guarantee user

spare
safety. The installation must be carried out by qualified persons who
must be able to guarantee compliance with the current national reg-
ulations and who must also be certified to carry out the installation.
It is the responsibility of the installer to choose the
materials according to their use, to carry out the
work correctly, to check the condition of the system
to which the appliance is to be connected and its
suitability in order to guarantee user safety.
FLEXA shower enclosures are class "1" appliances and must be an-
chored securely and connected permanently to the electric network
and earth system without any intermediate junctions.
The electric network and earth system of the build-
ing must be in working order and must comply with
the provisions of the law and specific regulations in
force in that country.
An appropriate device must be provided, as part of
the fixture and installed in compliance with cur-
rent regulations, which disconnects the equipment
from the mains.
A multiple-pole disconnect switch must be installed for connection
to the mains. This device must ensure complete disconnection un-
der class III overcurrent conditions. The breaker must be located in
a position that respects bathroom safety regulations.
In accordance with regulations, the switch and other
electrical devices must be located in an area that can-
not be reached by the person using the appliance.
The installation of electrical devices and appliances (sockets, switches,
etc.) in bathrooms must comply with the legal requirements and standards
of each country. In particular, no electrical installation is permitted with-
in 60 cm of the shower enclosure or at a height of less than 225 cm.
If the building's electrical system is not able to gua-
rantee a stabile power supply, it is recommended
to install a voltage stabiliser that suitably dimen-
sioned for the required power upstream of the e-
quipment.
