11. OPERATION (continues):
OPERATOR IN ATTENDANCE MANOEUVRE
•
Press the STOP button (opening of the NC contact on input 9 - page 12). The unit can now perform the so-called
"OPERATOR IN ATTENDANCE" manoeuvre, i.e. the automatic access can be opened or closed by means of two
NO external contacts (terminals 1-4, 1-5 of the control terminal strip). These commands are given by the operator
keeping the NO contacts closed.
Note: In performing this manoeuvre, the status of the safeties and of the obstacle detection is disregarded by
the unit.
Note: The Stop contact should always be closed to allow the automatic operating mode of the unit.
OPENING MANOEUVRE
•
Send a radio command via channel 1 or an "OPEN" command (via terminals 1 & 5) or a "PARTIAL OPENING"
command (via terminals 1 -20).
•
The warning light will start flashing before the access opens for a time as set via function "13".
•
The unit performs the TRIAC and the opening manoeuvre safeties self-test (only if terminal 41 is connected and
"FUNCTION 41" is set to "1").
•
The motor is powered for 1.5 sec at a 100% pick-up force, after which the applied motor force drops to that set via
function "0".
Note: When the manual opening contact is kept closed (terminals 1 and 5), the unit does not carry out any
closing operations. The function is active only if the limit switches are available.
CLOSING MANOEUVRE
•
Closing may occur automatically after the time set via function "10" or via radio commands (radio channel 1 and with
function "4" set to 1, 2 or 3), via the "OPEN" command with "FUNCTION 5" set to 1, or via the CLOSE command
(terminals 1 & 4).
•
The warning light will start flashing before the access closes for a time as set via function "14".
•
The unit performs the TRIAC and the closing manoeuvre safeties self-test (only if terminal 41 is connected and
"FUNCTION 41" is set to "1").
•
The motor is powered for 1.5 sec at a 100% pick-up force, after which the applied motor force drops to that set via
function "69".
PARTIAL OPENING MANOEUVRE
•
This manoeuvre is performed by a NO contact wired up between terminals 1 and 20 of the control terminal strip.
The unit behaves as during the opening manoeuvre; the manoeuvre ceases upon the time set via function "20"
elapsing.
•
Closing may occur automatically after the time set via function "10" or via radio commands (channel 1, and with
function "4" set to 1, 2 or 3), via the "OPEN" command with "FUNCTION 5" set to 1, or via the CLOSE command
(terminals 1 & 4).
