Time Lapse not working properly
When using Time Lapse in video mode, the smallest interval time available
is 5 min, to optimize battery life. In still photo mode, a 1 min. interval can
be set.
Wi-Fi not working
1. Make sure you have met all of the requirements listed below
2. Verify that your Wi-Fi network is operating normally with other Wi-Fi
devices.
3. Refer to the instructions that came with the Wi-Fi capable SD card
you are using.
4. Contact the support provided by the manufacturer of the Wi-Fi card.
Wi-Fi Operation Requirements
An SD card with Wi-Fi capability (for example, the included Eye-Fi
brand card) is inserted into the card slot.
The Surveillance Cam is connected to the #119517C AC Adapter,
as Wi-Fi transmission requires a high capacity, continuously available
power supply.
The "Wi-Fi" parameter in the Setup Menu is set to "On".
Both the Surveillance Cam and the receiving device are within range
of the same Wi-Fi network signal, and the signal strength is adequate.
Camera responds slowly, does not always capture
image when triggered
Avoid setting the Image Recycle parameter to "Y" (Yes) when an SD
card with capacity of 16GB or higher is inserted. The overwrite feature
requires some time to scan the card and determine the oldest file(s) to
delete and replace with the newest files (images). The larger the card, the
more time this will take, and the camera may perform significantly slower
with high capacity cards if the overwrite feature is activated. There should
be no issue using overwrite with smaller capacity cards (<16GB), and the
feature is provided to offer a useful option when limited capacity cards
are used, or when it is not practical to check the camera and replace (or
download and format) the card on a frequent basis.
