BRAKE ASSEMBLY

ALL THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS ARE TO BE CARRIED OUT BY AN APPROVED RETAIL OUTLET
You will need the following tools to assemble the brakes:
• set of Allen keys
• cutting pliers
• sheath ends
• cable ends
WARNING:
The factory fit pads are only compatible with aluminium rims.
Front brake assembly (internal routing)
1/ Fit the sheath in the stem feeding it
through as shown in Fig. i.
2/ Position the stem on the steerer tube
and set the stem angular position.
Tighten the stem using a 5 mm Allen
key to a torque of 15 Nm (please refer
to the Aerostem instructions for more
information).
3/ Feed the sheath into the steerer tube
down to the fork crown leaving 15 mm of
sheath protruding (Fig. j).
4/ Pull the sheath at the stem end then cut it
off at 30 mm (Fig. j). Fit a brake sheath end.
