1 Application
The 4 in1 Controller LS 9E369 or 9E370 is to be used solely for control of the 8E51 Electrohand
2000.
1.1 Qualification
Patients may be fitted with the product only by qualified personnel authorised by Ottobock after
completing the corresponding training.
2 Safety Instructions
Failure to follow the safety instructions mentioned below can lead to malfunction of the 4 in1
Controllers LS and may cause a health risk for the patient.
Use the Patient Information section of this pamphlet (Section 3) to inform your patient about the
function and use of the 4 in1 Controller LS.
3 Patient Information
• Do not allow foreign particles or liquids to get into the 4 in1 Controller LS.
• The 4 in1 Controller LS should not be subjected to intense smoke, dust, mechanical vibrations,
shocks or high temperatures.
• Avoid staying near high-tension power lines, transmitters, transformers or other sources of
strong electromagnetic radiation (such as security systems for goods in department stores),
as this can lead to malfunction of the 4 in1 Controller and the Electric Hand.
• Modifications of the components without the written approval of the manufacturer are explic-
itly forbidden.
4 Scope of Delivery and Spare Parts

4.1 Scope of Delivery

Delivery of the 9E369 4 in1 Controller LS for hand size 5 comprises:
1 pc. 9E371 Contact Plate (Fig. 2, item 1)
1 pc. 9E372 Pattern for Lamination (Fig. 2, item 2)
1 pc. 9E373 Controller for size 5 (Fig. 2, item 3)
1 pc. 647H209 Instructions for Use
The delivery does not include the 13E182 Coding Plug Set.
Delivery of the 9E370 4 in1 Controller LS for hand sizes 5 ½, 6 and 6 ½ comprises:
1 pc. 9E371 Contact Plate (Fig. 2, item 1)
1 pc. 9E372 Pattern for Lamination (Fig. 2, item 2)
1 pc. 9E374 Controller for size 5 ½, 6 and 6 ½ (Fig. 2, item 3)
