1. DESCRIPTION OF THE HOIST
The TRALlF"f® 15 a portable manual hoist for lifting which can be used on a fixed lifting point or with
suspension trolfeys. Information about suspension trolleys can be obtained tram TRACTEL on request.
Using a double spur gear mechanism the TRALlFf"D has been designed to give optimum working
efficiency, to be light and to requ're only a short headroom.
TRALlF"P'l ts supplled with ISO grade ao load chain for a lifting height cf 3 metres as standard.
An optional Joad limiting device is available and further information can be obtained tram TRACTEL
on request.
2. INSTALLATION
Before installing the TRALlFT® make the following checks:
2.1. Check that the holst ts in good condittcn.
2.2. Check that the correet capacity noist is to be used.
2.3. When ustnn a hoist with 2 or more falls of load chain ensure that there ls no twlstlnq,
2.4. Check that the load chain is correctly fitted with the Hnk welds on the outside of the load
sheave especially when lifts other than the standard 3 metres are used.
2.5. Check that the anchor point is sufficient to take the intended load.
Once these checks have been carried out and the hoist is instaJled on its anchor polnt the followin 9
procedure should be carried out before any work commences :
2.6. Check that the holst ts correctly attached to the anchor polnt and the top hook safety catch
is closed.
2.7. Check that the toad chain has not become twlsted during installation.
2.8. Without load check that the up and down functtons operate correctry.
2.9. When using the hoist with a push suspension trolley, without load, check that the trouey
moves freely. If using a geared suspension trolley, without load. check the directlon of
movement by pulling on thc trolley hand chain.
ATTENTION: The user should check that :
The hooks and catches are in good condition.
The anchoring accessory of the load seats fully in the hook and does not
prevent the catch from closing (see iIIustration).
The load on the hoist is free to align itself with the machine's anchor pclnt.
3. OPERATION
The TRAllFT® chain hotst is operated by meana of a hand chain whlch is pulled by the operator to lift
or lower a suspended load.
With the handwheel casing facing towards the operatorthe following procedure aetions lifting and lowering:
3.1. To Iift pull the righI hand chaln.
3.2. To lower pull the left hand chain.
It ts not recommended to pull the hand chaln at excessive speed as this will lead to an uneven
movement of the load. It is recommended to pull the hand chain in a steady movement to prevent any
unnecessary jerking of the load.
4. REMOVAL FROM SERVICE AND STORAGE
When taking the hoist out of service ensure that any load is placed safely and securely on the ground
and that the load chain is slack enough to enable the bottom hook to be removed from the load.
It is recommended that the hoist be stored hanging so that the load chain does not become tangled.
Store the hoist in a dry and weather-proaf area. Befare starage e1ean the load chain with a brush and
lubricate with machine oil.

fornecido com uma corrente de elevaçào ISO/80 que permite urna altura de elevaçào
de 3 m em standard. Pode ser fornecido, em
opçào
e a pedido, um Hmltador de carga.
2. COLOCAçiio EM SERVlçO
Antes de colocar em servlço a talha TRALlFT®, controlar os seguintes pontos:
2.1. Verificar se a talha esta em bom estado aparente.
2.2 Verificar se a talha tem a capacldade necessaria para a utilizaçào prevista.
2.3 Quando uma talha utiflza urna corrente com vartos ftos. verificar se nào estào
emaranhados.
2.4 Verificar se a
corrente
de elevaçào esté montada correctamente, com as soldas para o
exterior da polia da talha, em particular
para
uma altura de elevaçào diferente de 3 m.
2.5 Certificar-se de que o ponto de ancoragem da tatha pode suportar a
carga
com toda a
segurança.
Depois de efectuar todas estas verlftcaçòes. e com a talha instalada, seguir o procedimento seguinte
antes de começar a trabalhar:
2.6. Verificar se a talha està suspensa correctamente no respectivo ponto de ancoragem e se
a lingueta de segurança do gancho
esté
bem fechada.
2.7 Verificar se a corrente de elevaçèo nào sofreu torçòes ao ser instalada.
2.8 Sem carga, verificar as tunçòea "Subida" e 'Descìda".
2.9 No caso de
utlllzaçào
de um carro de suspensào de talha com avanço por impulso, verificar,
sem carga, se o carro de suspensào se desloca facilmente. No caso de um carro
de suspenséc com avanço por corrente de manobra, verificar, sem carga, a direcçào do
deslocamento do carro de suspensèo.
ATENçAO: O utilizador observaré:
O bom estado dos ganchos e das Iinguetas de segurança.
Se o acesséric de tlxaçào da carga assenta no tundo do gancho e nào impede
o fecho da lingueta de segurança (ver figura).
O alinhamento llvre da carga do aparelho e do ponto de
flxaçàc
do aparelho.
3. MANOBRA
A talha TRALlFT®
é
accionada por meio de uma corrente de manobra, puxada pelo operador para
elevar ou descer a carga, que la esta aplicaeìa.
Com o operador colocado diante da polia de manobra, a elevaçào ou a descida obtém-se do seguinte
modo:
3.1. Para elevar, puxar o fio da direita.
3.2. Para descer, puxar o fio da esquerda.
Nao é aconselhavel manobrar esta corrente a grande velocidade, devido aos esticoes que podem
ocorrer ao levantar ou descer a carga. Convém puxar regularmente a corrente de manobra, para evitar
o balanço da carga.
