TROUBLESHOOTING

Error message / symptom
QuikRead go does not start.
The touch panel is not functioning correctly.
Instrument alarm sounds cannot be heard.
The QuikRead go instrument displays error messag-
es and guides the user if it detects errors. Follow the
instructions displayed, and consult the troubleshoot-
ing table in this manual and also the QuikRead go
kit instructions for use.
Possible cause
The power is not connected.
The instrument has an electronic malfunction.
The touchscreen calibration is not correct
(the active area is not under the button).
The touchscreen panel does not respond at all.
The volume is set at too low a level.
The instrument's sound system
is not functioning correctly.
Contact your local supplier in the event that support
is needed or repair requirements arise.

Corrective action

Connect to the power supply and retry.
Contact Customer Service.
Calibrate the touchscreen, following
the procedure described under
"Maintenance settings".
Contact Customer Service.
Set volume according to the procedure described in
the chapter on personal settings.
Restart QuikRead go. If the problem persists, contact
Customer Service.
