6. Troubleshooting

If the UPS system does not operate correctly, please first identify the problem using the table below.
Symptom
No indication and alarm in the front
display panel, even though the mains is
normal.
The

Possible cause
AC input wiring is not connected properly.
EPO function is activated. At this time,

the EPO switch is in "OFF" status or the
jumper is open.
Internal or external batteries are
connected improperly.
UPS is overloaded.
UPS is overloaded. Devices connected to
the UPS are fed directly by the electrical
network via the Bypass.
After repeated overloads, the UPS is
locked in the Bypass mode. Connected
devices are fed directly by the mains.
UPS is overloaded and results in a fault.

Remedy
Check that all input wiring is firmly connected
to AC mains.
Set the circuit in the closed position to
disable the EPO function.
Check that batteries are connected properly.
Remove excess loads from UPS output.

Then shut down the UPS and restart it.

Check output wiring and if connected devices
are in short circuit status.
Contact Tripp Lite Tech Support.
Charge the batteries for at least 10 hours
and then check capacity. If the problem still
persists, contact Tripp Lite Tech Support.
Contact your Tripp Lite reseller to replace the
battery.
Check fans and contact Tripp Lite Tech
Support.
Check and correct the input neutral
connection. If the connection is ok and the
alarm is still sounding, please refer to the LCD
Settings in section 4.7. To enter the neutral
loss check menu to see if Parameter 3 is
"CHE", press the "Enter" button to make the
"CHE" flash. Then press the "Enter" button to
make the UPS clear the alarm. If the warning
still exists, check L2 and L3 input fuses.
Replace the fuse.
